It has been admittedly some time since we updated our freebase distribution, 3 months or so.
Pretty busy times :) Several quite interesting customer projects (will be cool to blog about these evenctually) and let alone we launched our "advanced solr/elasticsearch semistructured data search" offering.
Finally, summer vacations over (the worse ever weather in Europe by the way) we're happy today to announce our version 0.9 of the Sindicetech Freebase distribution.
What's new? Since last time (about 3 months ago)
- Several bugfixes and much improved functionalities (SPARQLed)
- 150 Milion new facts in Freebase - While there is 1 Million less triples in the "Summary graph" (now at 80m triples, vs 81M of version 0.7) as calculated by us. What does it mean? Freebase is getting more comprehensive and considerably less messy! (the bigger the graph, the more "complex" the Freebase structure is. Read more about the summary graph in our freebase distribution page.
